In 2026, the International Laboratory of Cultural-Historical Psychology and Education (ILCHE) marks 130 years since the birth of Lev S. Vygotsky (1896–1934). This symposium brings together scholars and educators to explore the legacy, relevance, and future of cultural-historical theory in psychology and education.

The event will feature keynote lectures, thematic panels, and paper presentations, creating a space for interdisciplinary dialogue and contemporary research exchange.

Format

The symposium will be held in person at the University of Crete (Rethymno, Greece).
All presenters will participate onsite.

An online audience option will also be available, allowing registered participants to attend and follow the sessions remotely.
